In late April of 2021, it was revealed in an interview with actor Chance Perez that Dino Fury would be moving to the streaming service Netflix for its second season upon the 2021 expiration of the series' contract with Nickelodeon - thus marking the transition of the Power Rangers main series to streaming exclusivity. Given the fact that the 2020-2021 COVID-19 pandemic started partway through production, it is yet unclear how the restrictions affected the series proper. The choice to adapt Ryusoulger was made around April of 2019. Īs revealed by show-runner Simon Bennett, post-production on Beast Morphers wrapped around January 2020, but Ryusoulger was still airing and the writers of that show didn't want to release plot-points too early so the writers pretty much had to make things up as they went along with nothing but the raw footage as a reference. On May 15, 2020, it was revealed that the adaptation would be called Power Rangers Dino Fury. It was revealed as Power Rangers Season 28. However, the official title wasn't revealed at the time.
